What you can download from TikTok

LinkSave downloads public TikTok videos — from full links or vm.tiktok.com share links — as MP4. Photo slideshows, private accounts and LIVE streams can’t be downloaded.

Works

  • Public TikTok videos
  • Short share links (vm.tiktok.com)
  • Videos up to 1 hour

Doesn’t work

  • Photo slideshows (they are images, not videos)
  • Videos from private accounts
  • TikTok LIVE streams

How to Download TikTok Videos

Save any public TikTok video in three steps — no account needed

Copy the TikTok link

In the TikTok app, tap Share (the arrow on the right), then Copy link. Short links like vm.tiktok.com/… work as well as full tiktok.com/@user/video/… links.

Paste and press Download

Paste the link into the box above. LinkSave reads the video in a few seconds and shows the qualities TikTok offers for it.

Save to your phone

Tap a quality. On iPhone the MP4 lands in Files → Downloads; open it and tap Share → Save Video to add it to Photos.

TikTok Downloader FAQ

Common questions about saving TikTok videos

Yes. Both the short links you get from Share → Copy link (vm.tiktok.com/…) and full links (tiktok.com/@user/video/…) work. LinkSave follows the short link to the real video.

LinkSave never adds a watermark of its own. You receive the file exactly as TikTok serves it, so anything that is part of that file stays in it.

Download it with LinkSave in Safari, open the Files app → Downloads, tap the video, then tap the Share button and choose Save Video. It is now in Photos.

No. Slideshows are a set of images with music rather than a video file, so there is no MP4 to download.
