Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information LinkSave (“we”, “us”) collects when you use www.linksave.online (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We built LinkSave to collect as little as possible.

• You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or password.
• We don’t keep the videos you download or a history of the links you paste.
• Our advertising partner, Google, uses cookies to show and measure ads. You can opt out of personalised ads.

1. Information we process

Links and videos

When you paste a link, it is sent to our download server so the video can be fetched from the original platform. The video is processed in a temporary folder that is deleted as soon as your download finishes. We do not store the video, and we do not keep a record that links a video to you.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting providers automatically record technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, browser type and any error. These logs are used only to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems, and are deleted automatically after a short period (normally within 30 days).

Your consent choice

If you are shown a consent message, your choice is saved in a cookie on your device so we don’t ask again on every visit.

2. Advertising and cookies

LinkSave is free because it shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy message link shown on the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Service will still work, but ads may be less relevant.

3. Third-party services

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Our download server provider runs the service that fetches videos.
• Google AdSense provides advertising.
• The platform you download from (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) receives a request from our server, not from your device. Thumbnails shown on the page load directly from that platform.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it except as described here or where required by law.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working service. Personalised advertising cookies are used only with your consent where the law requires it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. 6. Children

LinkSave is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

All traffic to the Service uses encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we process.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
