DMCA & Copyright

Last updated:

LinkSave respects the rights of creators. We do not host, store or cache any videos: every file is fetched from the original platform when a user requests it and is deleted from our server right after the download. Content that is removed from the original platform can no longer be downloaded through LinkSave.

Removing content at the source

Because we don’t host anything, the most effective way to remove infringing content is to send a takedown request to the platform where it is published (for example Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook).

Blocking a URL on LinkSave

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act for one) and want us to block specific URLs from being processed by LinkSave, email afaqxdev@gmail.com with the subject “DMCA Notice” and include:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) of the content you want blocked.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We aim to respond to valid notices within 5 business days.

Repeat infringers

We block URLs, channels or accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices, and we may block access to the Service for users who repeatedly use it to infringe copyright.

Counter-notice

If you believe a URL was blocked by mistake, email us with the URL, an explanation, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was blocked in error.
